Modulatable laser analog light barriers
A-LAS-N Series
In addition to the A-LAS series, we now also provide the extended A-LAS-N series. In addition to continual current feed (DC) of the laser light source, the N (Neo) version also provides the feature of modulation (AC), i.e. an alternating current feed to the laser diode, through which any present or interfering extraneous light can be compensated.
As such, it is possible to perform extremely precise measurements, even under extraneous light influence. We are currently planning to extend the range of A-LAS-N types available to ensure that at least the most common representatives of the A-LAS family are also available as an A-LAS-N version.
A-LAS-N series sensors can be operated very easily and highly efficiently using the SPECTRO-1-CONLAS and SPECTRO-2-CONLAS evaluation units. The SPECTRO-1-CONLAS system is a single channel system, i.e. an A-LAS-N laser light barrier can be connected for each evaluation unit, whilst a SPECTRO-2-CONLAS is able to actuate two A-LAS-N sensors.
