Panty liners will be transported between two belts. The beginning as well as the end of a panty liner should be detected. Furthermore, a gap between two successive panty liners should be detected. The only practicable possibility is to look through the two conveyor belts.

Detection of the presence of the fleece during the production of disposable diapers
During the production of disposable diapers the assembling of the fleece must be checked. The production speed is approximately up to 10m/s and the height of the diapers can slightly changing. Furthermore the color of the diaper as well as the color of the fleece is white but additionally to this the fleece is fluorescent in blue under the influence of UV light.
